Nj Saltwater Fishing Reports And Charter Info

12/2/07
Report:
The Jersey hooker crew headed out striper fishing, to claim their piece of the action. Conditions were not ideal strong winds from the south southeast , seas 3 - 5 feet, white caps, drop in water temperature, not good signs for what was to come. Took Capt. Rich about an hour to find a good concentration of bait and fish off IBSP, Capt. decided to troll . The fish and bait were spread far apart compared to other days. Capt. Rich And Mate Bart managed to put a 28" bass in the cooler and released 6 shorts over the course of two hours.
Charter Info:
This time of year for stripers , blackfish, mackeral and ling we offer an open boat service for our customers. We realize it is hard for people to gather up six people to arrange a full personal charter this time of year and especially with the costs of everything. Jerseyhooker charters will group smaller group together to make a six person charter. The good part about this is you will still have a personalized charter, with more one on one time with our Mate and Capt. Rich. Based on surveys from past customers they enjoyed this much more than party boat fishing. We will continue to sail open boat till the fishing turns off.
